I will show you what interesting I have been doing till now..
Aquàrium de Barcelona
I visited an Aquarium in Port Vell, which is a harbor. This Aquarium has 35 aquariums, which are home to 11,000 animals of 450 species and also there is an 80-meter underwater tunnel.
a seahorse, why they are always looking so sad? |
The Aquàrium of Barcelona is part of the Aspro Group and a member of the Iberian Association of Zoos and Aquaria (AIZA).
It was very interesting for me, becuase besides all this fish and sharks and medusas you could also gain a knowledge about for example the first ship, how our planet has been changing since the thousand of years..
At the beginning of a journey there, they are making a funny picture of you and you company (you can buy it for 8 euro if you want) and then you are going for wherever you want.

Before the entrance we can see the big shop with all gadgets, T-shirts and fluffy fish and seals.
Font màgica de Montjuïc
nothing more to say.. |
A little piece of history..
The first show took place on May 19, 1929, the day before the start of the Exposition. The fountain was a little bit destroyed during the Spanish Civil War and didn't working until 1955.
In the 1980s, music was incorporated with the light show and the fountain, along with the Museu Nacional, was completely restored prior to the 1992 Summer Olympics, held at Montjuïc. Performances include film, classical, and modern music, such as The Godfather, The Lord of the Rings, Gladiator, a Spanish zarzuela movement, and "Barcelona" by Freddie Mercury and Montserrat Caballé.
incredible! |
The light and music performances from October to April take place on Fridays and Saturdays every half-hour between 7:00 and 8:30pm, and from May to September Thursday through Sunday every half-hour between 9:00 and 11:00pm.

That's all for today. Tommorrow is a special day because we planned something great! We will have an intercontinental dinner with our friends from work. Everyone will bring national dishes and I can't wait to try them all. They will be something from France, Italy, Lithuania, England and from Poland obviously.
I told you that already-living here is like a fairy tale. Even a champagne is made with Hello Kitty ahaha! ;) |
Extraño a mis amigos y familiares, pero no quiero volver a casa así que voy a traer a todos aquí!
Hasta la próxima vez:)
